I read the whole book in 2 days so it's a pretty speedy read and quite enjoyable if you're a fan of Greek Mythology, as I'm sure you are. This edition is particularly good as it offers good footnotes and explanations of things that we have long since forgotten about.
I read a lot. Not as much as I used to, but it's still a lot. Lately I've been unmotivated to read so I started this blog to mark my progress through the books I've collected over the past five or six years.

Book 170: Theogony and Works and Days
So, here we are again with me reviewing books that I haven't read in over a year. Hesiod's Theogony and Works and Days, which is conveniently located in one book, was a required reading for the class that I took on ancient political philosophy. Here, we looked a good governing styles as explified by Hesiod's description of the gods but outside of that I really don't remember much else about the book.
I read the whole book in 2 days so it's a pretty speedy read and quite enjoyable if you're a fan of Greek Mythology, as I'm sure you are. This edition is particularly good as it offers good footnotes and explanations of things that we have long since forgotten about.
